Magisk has been to the Counter-strike: Global Offensive Majors 7 times since turning pro in 2015. In that period, he has one 3 consecutive majors with dev1ce, gla1ve, dupreeh and xyp9x in Team Astralis.

2015-2017

Magisk joined multiple teams before becoming CSGO Majors Champion. He represented teams like mTw, Dignitas, and SK Gaming. In 2017, the Danish CSGO Team North was created with ex-Dignitas players, including Magisk, in its roster. Magisk work the North jersey in two majors; PGL Major Krakow 2017 and ELEAGUE Major 2017.

In August 2017, OpTic Gaming bought out Magisk’s contract from North. He was then traded to Astralis in February of 2018.

Magisk & Astralis

Prior to acquiring Magisk, Astralis’s active roster of gla1ve, dev1ce, dupreeh, and Xyp9x has already won a Major Championship. After winning the ELEAGUE Major 2017 in Atlanta, Astralis failed to reach the finals again. They even failed to advance from the Group Rounds in their most recent Majors outing prior to acquiring Magisk.

Adding Magisk to the roster had an immediate impact with Astralis Winning four out of their 9 LAN tournaments prior to the 2018 FACEIT Major in London.

FACEIT Major London 2018

The 2018 London Major was the first Major for Magisk in an Astralis uniform. Astralis qualified for a Legends spot and they ended the Groups stage with a 3-1 record. They matched up with Faze in the quarterfinals. The match ended in favor of Astralis 2-0.

They faced NA Team Liquid in the semis which also ended 2-0 in favor of the Danes. This set them up with a finals match-up against the S1mple and Zeus-led NaVi team. Gla1ve led the team with 39 frags to secure a 2-0 victory for Astralis. Magisk ended the tournament with a 1.25 HLTV 2.0 rating, just behind Majors MVP dev1ce.

IEM Katowice Major 2019

Between the London 2018 major and the IEM Katowice in March of 2019, the defending champs, Astralis, won 6 out of the 8 LAN tournaments they joined. They qualified for one of the Legends sport in IEM Katowice 2019 where they finished on top of the Groups stage with 3-0 record. They dispatched Ninjas in Pyjamas in the quarterfinals and  MIBR in the semis; both matches ending in 2-0.

ENCE upset NaVi in the other semifinal match to set up the finals match-up. Astralis swept ENCE in the finals to end the Major tournament without giving up a single map.

Magisk was named Majors MVP with a 1.28 HLTV 2.0 rating.

StarLadder Major: Berlin 2019

The Astralis boys were heavy favorites to win Berlin 2019 but it was obvious that the competitions were closing the gap. In the period between the two majors in 2019, Magisk and Astralis participated in 8 LAN tournaments, winning only 2.

Astralis closed the Groups stage with a 3-1 record. They matched up with Team Liquid in the quarterfinals. They closed out the North American team in two maps. The quarterfinals was against another NA team, NRG. Astralis survived a 50-35 performance from Brehze by silencing the other four members of NRG. They also ended the match without conceding a single map.

The finals was against Jame-led Avangar. Astralis closed the finals 2-0 to complete the first three-peat in CSGO Majors history.

2020-2022

The global pandemic halted most LAN tournaments for an entire year and a half. There were no CSGO Majors in 2020. Astralis did not see the same level of success in the “online” era. Magisk and Astralis managed to win 3 S-tier trophies in 2020 but it was clear that other teams were catching up.

Dev1ce’s departure early in 2021 marked a big change in the team dynamics. The absence of the legendary AWPer became a glaring weakness in the team. This resulted in a dip in team performance and disappointing exits. After Dev1ce left, Astralis failed to win a trophy in 2021. They managed to qualify for the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 but failed to advance to the playoffs.

With Magisk’s contract ending, he transferred to Team Vitality together with dupreeh and zonic. Teaming up with Zyw0o, apEX and misutaaa, they competed in the  PGL Major Antwerp 2022 but did not go further than that Groups stage.

On August 15, 2022, Team Vitality acquired Spinx from ENCE to replace misutaaa in the roster. With this new roster, Magisk and Team Vitality qualified in the IEM Rio major 2022. They are among the favorites to win the competition fresh of winning the ESL Pro League Season 16 trophy.
